MidPen Housing’s Paseo Estero and Vista Estero affordable housing communities at Brooklyn Basin have received a Real Estate Deal of the Year Award from the San Francisco Business Times, in recognition of the transformative role these communities play in revitalizing a former industrial site on the Oakland waterfront.

Amenities at Paseo Estero Family Apartments include a multipurpose community room, computer lab, fitness center, courtyard, bicycle storage and a children’s playground. Amenities at Vista Estero Senior Apartments include a community room, computer lab, balance studio, courtyard, bicycle storage and an arts and crafts room. The projects provide housing for families and seniors earning 60% or less of area median income.
Affordable Housing at Brooklyn Basin

Construction on Foon Lok West, the next phase of affordable housing at the project, is underway in Oakland and slated to welcome residents in fall 2022.
