The Team

Oakland’s history began on the waterfront, and so will its future. 65 acres will be transformed, welcoming over 3,000 homes, 32 acres of parks, restored wetlands and more.

With a number of high-profile developments underway in addition to Brooklyn Basin, the city’s appeal to capital allocators grows daily.

Signature Development Group of Oakland and Beijing-based Zarsion Holdings Group are leading the transformation of Brooklyn Basin as partners. It is the largest, approved mixed-use master plan in Oakland, and, developed over a period of ten years, this large-scale project emphasizes sustainability, open space creation and sophisticated residential design.

"[Creating] a residential, mixed-use community at this strategic location will be a great contribution to the region, and to those with the opportunity to live there."

City partnership

With the intention to optimally connect the community to its waterfront and encourage a lively, active neighborhood, all of the green spaces here are open to the public and owned by the city of Oakland, but managed and maintained by Brooklyn Basin to ensure meticulous upkeep.
